Jess is a graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy , with a Masters Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M. OMSc). She is a member in good standing with Osteopathy Nova Scotia and the Ontario Osteopathic Association.
Originally from Ontario, Jess moved to Nova Scotia to complete her undergrad in Human Kinetics, at StFX University. While at X, Jess threw Indoor Hammer Throw on the Varsity Track and Field team.
A love for athletics/rehabilitation and movement ultimately led Jess to Osteopathy.
Classical Osteopathy takes a principles based approach, allowing Jess to provide treatment specific to the needs of each individual. Osteopathy, requires a thorough knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Mechanics, and works to find the root cause of the problem rather than treating just the symptoms.
Jess provides treatment to patient’s of all ages.
